Guest Speaker
Dr. Gordon Dickson
Gordon A. Dickson has served as a pastor for nearly four decades. In addition to his pastoral work, he serves the Lord as an author, editor, composer, broadcaster and conference speaker. He has been married to Harriet for forty-five years, and they have four children and eight grandchildren.
Pastor Dickson has authored articles for numerous magazines including FrontLine. His most recent books include 12 Ways You Can Make a Difference in This Crazy, Mixed-up World, and TRUST. What religions don’t tell you but God wants you to know. His forthcoming books include numerous studies in servant-leadership.
For hobbies, he enjoys studying all branches of science and specializes in vegetable gardening and meteorology.
Golf Tournament
We will have a golf tournament on Friday starting at 11:00 am at THE TAMARACKS golf course in Harrison, Michigan. Four-man teams compete following a Captain’s Choice format. The golf tourney is being run in conjunction with the retreat, but it is not a required event.
The cost per golfer for the tournament is $40 and all golfers must stay for the entire retreat and attend the preaching services in order to receive any prizes won in the tournament.
Golfers must register by August 31 to reserve a spot in the tournament.
Golfers may golf additional holes before or after the tournament (up until the start of the retreat) for only $5 (sign up for Unlimited Golf on registration form).
